Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information OPDConnect collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

From doctors:

  • Name, contact details, qualifications, registration and other professional information.
  • Clinic or hospital information, consultation fees, availability, sessions and leave dates.
  • Payment collection details such as UPI identifiers or QR images you upload.

From advertisers:

  • Business name, contact details and verification information.
  • Campaign information such as creatives, banners, links, placements, plans and order details.

Other information:

  • Location information such as city, only where you provide it.
  • Device and technical information such as browser type, IP address, approximate location derived from it, and usage logs.

3. How we use information

  • Appointment management — creating, confirming, rescheduling and cancelling appointments, and generating appointment tokens.
  • Account management — creating and maintaining patient, doctor, hospital and advertiser accounts, and verifying professional details.
  • Platform security — preventing fraud, misuse, spam and unauthorised access.
  • Communication and notifications — sending appointment updates, approval status, and service messages.
  • Payment processing — processing consultation fees and advertising payments through third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card or bank credentials.
  • Advertising and analytics — showing sponsored listings, measuring impressions and clicks, and improving the platform.

4. When information may be shared

  • With doctors and hospitals — the booking details needed to prepare for and manage your appointment.
  • With service providers — hosting, database, storage, payment and communication providers who process data on our behalf.
  • With advertisers — only aggregated campaign performance information, never your personal details.
  • With authorities — where required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect the safety and rights of users.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active, or as long as needed to provide appointment and payment records, resolve disputes and meet legal or accounting requirements. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

  • Access and review the information in your account.
  • Correct inaccurate information, including profile and professional details.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal information.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential communications.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@opdconnect.com.

7. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account at any time. Some records, such as completed appointment and payment records, may be retained where required for legal, tax or dispute-resolution purposes.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as language, and understand how the platform is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though some features may then stop working.

9. Security and its limits

We use access controls, row-level database security, restricted file access and encrypted connections to protect information. However, no online service can be completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential.

10. Not for medical emergencies

OPDConnect must not be used for medical emergencies. If you need urgent care, contact your nearest hospital or the appropriate emergency medical services immediately. OPDConnect does not provide medical treatment or advice, and does not guarantee the quality of care or the outcome of any consultation.

11. Children

Accounts are intended for adults. A parent or guardian may book an appointment on behalf of a child and is responsible for the information provided.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of OPDConnect means you accept the updated policy.
