Terms of Service

These terms explain how OPDConnect may be used. By using the platform, you agree to them.

Last updated: 13 August 2026

1. What OPDConnect is

OPDConnect facilitates appointment discovery and booking between patients and healthcare providers. OPDConnect does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or medical advice, and is not a party to the doctor–patient relationship.

2. Accounts

  • Patient accounts — patients may browse and book appointments. Some bookings can be made as a guest by providing accurate contact details.
  • Doctor accounts — doctors must provide genuine qualifications, registration and clinic details, and keep availability up to date.
  • Hospital and clinic accounts — organizations may create profiles, departments and manage doctors linked to them, and are responsible for the accuracy of that information.
  • Advertiser accounts — healthcare businesses may create campaigns subject to review and approval.

3. Registration and accurate information

You must provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. Doctor and hospital verification

Doctor and hospital profiles are reviewed before being published. Verification is a reasonable-efforts check of submitted information; it is not a certification of clinical skill, and OPDConnect does not guarantee the quality of care or any treatment outcome.

5. Appointments

  • Booking — appointments can be booked only in slots the doctor or hospital has made available.
  • Confirmation — a booking is confirmed when it is accepted on the platform and shown in your appointment details or token.
  • Availability — availability, sessions and leave dates are set by the doctor or hospital and may change.
  • Cancellation and rescheduling — patients, doctors and hospitals may cancel or reschedule as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Provider changes — if a doctor or hospital changes a schedule, closes a session or declares leave, affected appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled and you will be notified.
  • No-shows — if you do not attend a confirmed appointment without cancelling, the consultation fee may not be refundable.

6. Fees and payments

  • Consultation fees are set by the doctor or hospital and shown before you book.
  • Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Where a payment screenshot is required, it must be genuine and relate to that booking.
  • Cash payments are available only where the doctor or hospital has enabled paying at the counter.
  • Refunds are handled as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Reviews, ratings and user content

Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. Content that is abusive, defamatory, misleading, discriminatory, or that reveals another person's private medical information is not allowed. You keep ownership of content you post and grant OPDConnect a licence to display it on the platform. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

8. Advertising

Advertisements must be lawful, accurate and appropriate for a healthcare audience. Campaigns are reviewed before going live and may be rejected, paused or removed. Advertisers are responsible for their claims and for any regulatory approvals their offering requires.

9. Prohibited activities

  • Providing fraudulent, impersonated or misleading information, including fake qualifications or payment proof.
  • Making bookings you do not intend to attend, or automated or bulk booking.
  • Scraping, reverse engineering, disrupting or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the platform.
  • Using the platform for anything other than lawful healthcare appointment purposes.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, misuses the platform, or creates risk for patients or other users. You may stop using OPDConnect and request account deletion at any time.

11. Intellectual property

The OPDConnect name, logo, design and software belong to OPDConnect. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission. Content uploaded by doctors, hospitals and advertisers remains theirs.

12. Platform availability and third-party services

We aim to keep OPDConnect available but cannot promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates or third-party failures (hosting, payments, messaging, maps) may interrupt access. Third-party services are governed by their own terms.

13. Medical disclaimer

OPDConnect does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or advice. All clinical decisions are made by the treating doctor. Never use OPDConnect for a medical emergency — contact emergency medical services or your nearest hospital immediately.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OPDConnect is not liable for the clinical services provided by doctors or hospitals, for missed or changed appointments, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the platform amount you paid for that booking.

15. Changes to the service and these terms

We may add, change or remove features, and may update these terms. Updated terms will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use means you accept the changes.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the matter directly.
